Jeremy Moore

Coach, Facilitator, and Wilderness Guide

I began my nonprofit work at age 11, volunteering for United Cerebral Palsy's Camp Manito in Delaware. Over 10 years, I advanced from volunteer to Camp Director.

After enlisting in the US Army and being deployed to Afghanistan, I received extensive psychological training as a human intelligence collector. In 2012, an injury during deployment left me with severe physical limitations and psychological wounds. This life-changing injury led me to discover a unique approach to recovery that included a blend of physical, emotional, and mental techniques.

In 2018, I founded More Than Fitness, a nonprofit in Wilmington, Delaware, integrating my experiences with youth with disabilities, high school coaching, and personal recovery tools.

With over 20 years in human and youth development, I have earned a number of certifications and awards, most proudly my military honors, including two Army Commendation Medals, three Purple Hearts, and a Bronze Star with Valor. I also received the Jefferson Service Award for my community contributions. I currently serve as the President of the VA Mental Health Advocacy Council for the Wilmington VAMC.

My decades of experience with youth and adults, military service, and personal perseverance uniquely qualify me to coach social and emotional wellness.
